                          "Celebrating God's Creation"

WELCOME Pastor Sheryl!

This an exciting time this is for us at Lyndale Lutheran Church. We've called Pastor Sheryl Bousu as our new pastor at Lyndale.  This is a "first call" for Pastor Sheryl.

She will be ordained by Bishop Ann Svennungsen. We are all invited (and encouraged) to attend her ordination., on Saturday, August 26th, 2017 at 3pm at Christ The King Lutheran Church - 1900 7th Street NW, New Brighton, MN 55112.

Pastor Sheryl's installation will be performed by Pastor Craig Pederson, Assistant to the Bishop during worship on Sunday, September 17th at Lyndale.   We hope all of you will attend  and give Pastor Sheryl Bousu a warm Lyndale welcome!  what a blessed reason to celebrate.

THANK YOU for Serving Pastor Dave!

We would like to thank Pastor Dave for being our Interim Pastor for many months. You have certainly gone above and beyond all expectations during your time of serving us.  We pray for safe travels and many enjoyable adventures as you rest and enjoy some free time.  We will miss your "little bit of humor" and your enthusiasm during worship.  Thank you for walking us through the search for a new pastor with explanations and approximate timelines.  You and Carol are certainly a blessing to this congregation! Thank You! Thank You!.... And A Warm  and Grateful Lyndale THANK YOU !!!

Lyndale Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  We are called to do God’s work with our hands.  We join together with 10,000 congregations across the world to make God’s will happen.  To learn more about the ELCA and its powerful ministries go to elca.org.

Lyndale Lutheran Church is the little church with a big heart.  We are an intergenerational congregation that gathers people from 15 zip codes and 4 school districts.  Rooted in 114 years of history, we are vitally active in the community and believe that serving God and sharing God’s gospel go hand in hand.

"Is this seat taken?"

"We have been saving it .... Just for you."

In worship we give praise and thanksgiving to God who has so abundantly blessed our lives.  We use a format each week that involves you in the worship through prayers, songs, sermons and communion.  The preaching style is out of the pulpit and highly engaging.  Children are encouraged to be in worship  - even when they need to get up and move for a moment.  With their energy and excitement and awe, the presence of children and youth in worship gives the Holy Spirit more opportunity to reach people.  As a congregation of 300 people, our faith is refreshed and renewed as we reach out to share the good news of Jesus Christ as we care for each other. God gets us, because God created us.  God trusted us in the very beginning of creation and God affirmed that love and trust for us by sending Jesus Christ into the world.  And now, powered by the Holy Spirit we share God’s grace and serve God’s creation.

Children are Welcome at worship!  There are busy bags, children's sermons and special music by children.
